James Beard Award-winning Chef, Andy Ricker’s Portland Favorites

Came across a great restaurant suggestion list for Portland, Oregon by Andy Ricker – 2011 James Beard Best Chef Winner earlier today via the James Beard Foundation, find it here.  If you’re fortunate to live in PDX or just taking a trip to the Pacific Northwest, do your best to check out some of these spots.  Additionally, make sure you visit one of Chef Ricker’s restaurants, check out his original Pok Pok and then discover the rest!

I can’t wait to head back to Portland and visit some of the restaurants on his list and enjoy the most amazing wings I ever had, which were at Chef Ricker’s Whiskey Soda Lounge – basically the ‘waiting room’ for Pok Pok.
